ADAS CALIBRATION
WHAT IS ADAS CALIBRATION?
Advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) are electronic systems in a vehicle that use advanced technologies to assist the driver. They can include many active safety features, and often the terms “ADAS” and “active safety” are used interchangeably. ADAS uses sensors in the vehicle such as radar and cameras to perceive the world around it, and then either provides information to the driver or takes automatic action based on what it perceives. ADAS Calibration involves aligning these sensing devices in your car so that they function properly. ADAS Calibration requires specialized equipment and tools with highly trained technicians capable of adjusting, resetting, or replacing these systems.
WHEN IS ADAS CALIBRATION NEEDED?
ADAS relies on a variety of sensors in your vehicle that allow the system to determine if there are any potential hazards around your automobile. The most common components of an ADAS system are camera, radar, and ultrasonic sensors.
